Our story

Our story started in 2007, when Mikko Korpela founded a company called OptimiIT Oy. He had noticed that there was a great need for an easy-to-use, cloud-based CRM solution in companies of different sizes. In addition to usability, OptimIT wanted to streamline system deployment, challenging complex and lengthy deployment processes.

First steps

Our story started with two people in a small six-square-metre office room, where a closet served as the server room. However, the first partner and customer contracts were quickly signed, and soon the servers in the small office room were moved to a separate data centre room. This made working in the office much easier, as the constant hum of the servers stopped.  

In 2010, the brand was changed to CRM-service and since then the company has been operating under the name CRM-service Oy. Based on customer feedback, the strategy was refined so that the delivery and support of the CRM solution in Finland was now also provided in-house. In Estonia, the resale is still carried out today by a competent partner.  

Shared growth

Since the beginning, the company’s strategy has been to offer customers a wide range of services. Over the years, our company has therefore acquired both high-quality partners and skilled employees to offer our customers the best tools in one software package.  

Our CRM-service solution evolved over the years based on the needs of our clients, but the ever-digitizing world has created a need for non-profit organizations to use CRM software alongside membership registry software. We believe that every organization should have the option to purchase software that is truly easy to use.  

Over the years, we added to our strategy the desire to serve a variety of non-profit organisations and to offer them a comprehensive solution that combines the best of CRM software and organisation management software.  

The power of collaboration

Businesses and organisations benefit from each other, and one example of this synergy is the fusion of our call centre contact centre functionality into the helpdesk process that is so important to organisational customers.  

In 2023, the company’s Swedish operations were relaunched and the first customer contracts with organisational clients were signed in the same year. In the future, we are heading towards Norway and Denmark, as the steady growth that comes with client focus continues to be strong.
